Noodler's inks are handmade, so there may be slight color variations between batches.
Noodler's Baystate inks have slightly different formulas than conventional fountain pen inks. They are designed to be more vibrant than other inks and have a slightly basic pH, so they are prone to smudging and should not be mixed with inks other than Baystate.
If staining occurs, a solution of 10% household bleach and 90% distilled water will help. If you have particularly rare or valuable pens, we recommend avoiding using Baystate inks on them.
