The Hunt 56 is very similar to the Gillott 404 in stiffness and durability.

It takes a lot of pressure to create big swells and can produce decent lines.

It works well on both smooth and textured paper. Calligraphers of all levels will enjoy this pen, but it's especially good for beginners.
