Color swatches in each photo: Starting with 10 parts water to 1 part paint (by weight) on the palette, our chemist paints the top half of the sample evenly with a round brush to demonstrate the paint's color and characteristics. For the bottom half, he dips a 3/4" flat brush into the paint reservoir once and applies the color in strips until the brush dries, allowing the color's tone and behavior to be appreciated through a wash. We use these samples for color matching during the manufacturing process.
