Using the same smooth, yet playful, custom frosted steel nib, The Aluminum Carousel is a substantial writing instrument that invites new stationery users to experience the joy of handwritten correspondence. Crafted from precision-milled aircraft-grade aluminum for a balanced and rewarding everyday writing experience.

Technical specifications:

• Capping mechanism: Threaded cap with air sealing system.
• Capped length: 127 mm
• Published length: 123 mm
• Body: Aircraft-grade aluminum
• Fountain Pen Nib: Custom frosted steel nib; 0.7 mm fine, 1.0 mm medium
• Converter: Standard international size converter included

Care instructions

Filling/Changing Ink Colors:

• Unscrew to remove the barrel from the grip section and access the converter.
• Place the fountain pen tip completely in warm water.
• Rinse the tip by twisting/unscrewing the converter until the water runs clear.
  
• Let dry for 1 day.
• Fill a new color by fully immersing the nib and feeder in the ink, then drawing the ink into your pen by rotating the converter to the top position.

Grades:

• For highly saturated inks and darker shades, or clogged nibs, you may need to soak the grip/feeder in water overnight.
• It is normal for some air bubbles to enter the converter when refilling ink.
