Jacques Herbin 1670 Caroube de Chypre (Brown) features golden highlights and was originally released in July 2016. This is the fifth ink in the 1670 series. Each cap is hand-dipped in sealing wax, stamped with the "1670" seal on the front, and is individually presented in a collector's edition box.

It is said that Jacques Herbin was a great fan of dried carob pods, and that was the reason for his longevity! Like other merchants sailing the Mediterranean, he would collect them in Cyprus on his way back home. Carob is the fruit of the carob tree and has been cultivated in Mediterranean countries since ancient times. Carob pods are known for their excellent therapeutic properties and were marketed throughout Europe as the " black gold of Cyprus ." This anniversary ink is called "Caroube de Chypre" for its intense, deep brown with a reddish touch and, of course, its golden highlights.

- Includes a booklet with the history of Jacques Herbin.
- Handmade wax seal and stopper.
- Size: 50ml glass bottle, wide mouth.

Due to the number of particles this ink contains to achieve its glitter effect, you may experience limited ink flow in some of your pens. We recommend shaking the ink well before refilling and gently rolling it between your hands frequently to maintain the glitter effect. This will also help prevent clogging. It's also important to be diligent about cleaning and maintaining your pen when using this ink.

Ideal for fountain pens and most writing instruments.
