The Jacques Herbin 1798 Kyanite du Népal fountain pen ink is a brilliant blue tending toward turquoise. It is magnified by a cloud of silver glitter for powerful and elegant writing. Each cap is hand-dipped in sealing wax, stamped with the "1798" seal on the front, and individually presented in a collector's edition box.

Since its discovery in Nepal's famed Kali Gandaki mining region, kyanite has been recognized as a majestic mineral for its similarities to the rich hues of sapphire.

1798 commemorates a significant year in the history of Jacques Herbin. At that time, the French Revolution was coming to an end, and the Herbin company, founded in 1670, was growing. In 1798, the company relocated to expand its production capacity and the influence of its inks and sealing wax.

- Includes a booklet with the history of Jacques Herbin.
- Handmade wax seal and stopper.
- Size: 50ml glass bottle, wide mouth.

Due to the number of particles this ink contains to achieve its glitter effect, you may experience limited ink flow in some of your pens. We recommend shaking the ink well before refilling and gently rolling it between your hands frequently to maintain the glitter effect. This will also help prevent clogging. It's also important to be diligent about cleaning and maintaining your pen when using this ink.

Ideal for fountain pens and most writing instruments.
